Good Morning Sunny Lane,

I hope this morning finds you all healthy and happy.

On this Veterans Day Sunday I thought it would be an appropriate time for me to extend my appreciation to each and every one of you for all of your support and prayers.  Believe it or not, I have felt them all the way over here.

I feel His presence and witness His works all around me daily.

Take comfort in the fact that US forces are out there doing good things everyday, despite what the news may or may not say.

While we are over here doing our job we would not be able to do that if we didn’t know all was well on the home front.

The public support we have received during this time in history is unprecedented.

From church groups to elementary school classes and all walks of life in between, I have seen it all. Thank you.

I want to also thank you all for taking care of my family while I am away.

It’s that peace of mind that allows me to remain focused on the task at hand here. To my family, what can I say; they have been my rock. While I am away they are waiting patiently for me to come home from yet another deployment. Knowing this has also let me to focus on the task at hand.

I love you all very much and I’ll be home very soon, I promise.

Liz makes sure I stay current by sending me the newsletter, thank you Liz.

And the web site is an awesome place for me to go and see pictures of everyone so I don’t feel that far away at all.

So thank you again and enjoy the rest of your day over there because I sure intend to do that on my end.
