We’re beginning the romantic month of June.

There will be many weddings coming quite soon.

We’ll see handsome grooms and beautiful brides.

The church will be filled with friends and relatives seated on both sides.

What joy and fun to plan a wedding day.

But much more important are the vows each must say.

The flowers are lovely, the candles all aglow.

The bridal party enters to begin the show.

Each wedding day is a day of bliss, but there will be times of anxiety and strife.

That’s when the vows must be a reminder --- this marriage is for life.

With Christ as the head of new and old unions, as well, we don’t have to wonder.

"What God joins together, let no man put asunder".
