June 14th a day we honor "Old Glory"
If our flag could talk, there’d be many a story.
There have been periods of anguish, turmoil and pain.
But without these times America would see no gain.
Our country is truly the land of the free.
What blessings she holds for you and for me.
There’s no place on earth where people live with such ease.
To worship our God daily as we please.
Let’s pay tribute to those Americans who have made this country great.
Who have stood behind Old Glory to seal our fate.
Sometimes the flag is tattered and torn.
With each worn spot courage was born.
Let’s praise God our Father for this bond that we share.
A flag of freedom for a country so rare.
