Minister of Pastoral Care

Rev. Charles Stewart

 

Rev. Charles H. Stewart was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and comes to us as a retired Elder of the Oklahoma Conference.  His education background is diverse, holding an A.A.S. Degree in Police Science from the Community College of the Air Force; a B.S. of Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu; and a Master of Divinity from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Charles and his bride, Gayle, from Derby, Kansas, have three children and six grandchildren.  His hobbies include reading and traveling.

 

Charles has served as our Pastoral Care Minister since 2012.  His philosphy of Pastoral Care Ministry comes from Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble."
